ABOUT ME

About Me

My name is Amanda Beason and I’ve been an OT for seven years and a school based therapist for five of those years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with students of all ages (I serve students ages 3 -22 at the pre-k, elementary, middle, and high school level).

This means I’m working with very young children that are struggling with fine motor skills because they spend a lot of their free time in front of the a tablet. That also means I’m working with children of all ages with significant motor impairments that are participating very little in all areas of life despite all the technology that is available to them. Plus all the kiddos in between.

When I’m not at school or writing about being at school, I’m a wife and cat mom. I also love playing bluegrass and old time music (fiddle, mandolin, and guitar)!
